On Election Day (Tuesday, November 8th, 2011), the Freedom Forum participated in the “Adopt-a-Poll” program sponsored by the Stanislaus County Clerk Recorders Office.  Club members volunteered as poll workers for the day.  The precinct was at Standiford Place, and this activity helped raise money for scholarships.

The Freedom Forum and the ASMJC Political Development Committee co-hosted the Modesto Mayoral Candidates Forum on Wednesday, September 28th, 2011.  The forum was a great event and very successful in educating attendees on the candidates’ positions.  All four mayoral candidates participated.  The candidates were Brad Hawn, Armando Arreola, Bill Zoslocki, and Garrad Marsh.  The Freedom [...]

On Friday, September 2, at 7am!, Club Officers Alex Carrillo (President), Rachel Hernandez (Secretary), and Andres Navarrete (Treasurer) gave a very informative and well-received presentation about the FF in front of the Hispanic Leadership Council at El Concilio.

The FF had a very successful time recruiting new members at the MJC Club Rush, which was on August 29th and 30th.  By selling water, the FF also got a nice fundraiser going.

The Freedom Forum had a voter registration booth at a fair sponsored by the Social Workers of Northern Central Valley Network.  The fair was held at Central Valley High School in Ceres on Saturday, August 6th 2011 from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
