Election Day, “Adopt a Poll”

On Election Day (Tuesday, November 8th, 2011), the Freedom Forum participated in the “Adopt-a-Poll” program sponsored by the Stanislaus County Clerk Recorders Office.  Club members volunteered as poll workers for the day.  The precinct was at Standiford Place, and this activity helped raise money for scholarships.

Modesto Mayoral Candidates Forum

Presentation at El Concilio

On Friday, September 2, at 7am!, Club Officers Alex Carrillo (President), Rachel Hernandez (Secretary), and Andres Navarrete (Treasurer) gave a very informative and well-received presentation about the FF in front of the Hispanic Leadership Council at El Concilio.

Club Rush

The FF had a very successful time recruiting new members at the MJC Club Rush, which was on August 29th and 30th.  By selling water, the FF also got a nice fundraiser going.

Voter Registration Booth at Ceres Fair

The Freedom Forum had a voter registration booth at a fair sponsored by the Social Workers of Northern Central Valley Network.  The fair was held at Central Valley High School in Ceres on Saturday, August 6th 2011 from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
